Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans (may use frozen or 15 ½ oz. can, drained and rinsed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Optional: Lemon zest/peel
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In large bowl combine beans, olive oil and seasonings. Mix to combine well.
3. Spread in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until lightly browned.
Store these in an airtight container until ready to use.
These tasty beans make a great snack or on top of salads in place of croutons. I suggest making a double batch, because these go fast they are so good!
